This little guy is now 27 years old! *sigh*<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JUNIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the receding gloam<br \/>\nI ponder a stratum of blue<\/p>\n<p>within the photograph of my son,<br \/>\nhone in on his baby blue peepers,<\/p>\n<p>cobalt against a periwinkle blanket.<br \/>\nHis radiant bare head emerges<\/p>\n<p>from beneath a navy cap.<br \/>\nBundled in a fleece jacket,<\/p>\n<p>wrapped within a sheepskin throw,<br \/>\npensive, his immense hands grip nothing<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019d quit bawling by then<br \/>\nand we pleasantly romped in the park.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One instance when a picture prompts a poem.
