Edgy of course, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set\/?set=a.13956557037.34204.527457037&amp;type=1&amp;l=9b180adb3f\">Rattler<\/a><\/em>, edited along with ex-husband filmmaker, writer and musician <a href=\"http:\/\/peterhaskell.blogspot.ca\/\">Peter Haskell<\/a>, featured a significant number of now established Los Angeles poets, authors and artists. Despite brutal economic times and evolving technology, true to their nature, alternative presses persevere; <em>Poetry Is Dead<\/em>, <em>subTerrain<\/em>, <em>McSweeney<\/em>&#8216;s, <em>Event<\/em>, <em>CV2<\/em>, <em>Broken Pencil<\/em>, to name a few.
