Happy New Year my pretties! Eat my dust defamers and bloodsuckers; I am not only moving forward, I am hurtling ahead, resolute and able to compose consistently. Latest poem, first draft:<\/p>\n

PAGE BABY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Forecasts foretell the fading rustle of paper,
\nechoing the decline of oracle bones
\nand though I roam a boundless digital domain,
\ntreasured scrolls still clutch my heart.<\/p>\n

Cull your darlings, for eco\u2019s sake,
\nas I grapple with releasing their tenacious grip;
\nbankers’ boxes tucked beneath my bed
\nbrimming with artifacts; broadsides, pamphlets,<\/p>\n

postcards, chapbooks, flyers, now contained,
\nfinite, defying the allure of documents.
\nMy successors may not revere their significance,
\nno meaning when I\u2019m no longer here.<\/p>\n

Thus, I must sift and winnow
\nbefore my journey into the abyss,
\nallow ephemera to dissolve into the ether,
\nincluding the once cherished,<\/p>\n

purging a sort of strength planning
\namid life’s gyrations,
\nas to better leave behind
